Violaine Galland & Claude
Galland
Blue Sky Inventors
Violaine and Claude are inventors.
In 1988 with $300 capital they started their first company, sold it four
years later and went from rags to riches.
Subsequently, they built a manufacturing company around every invention;
and again sold these companies.
Some of their inventions and patent-pending were sold outright. After
the sale of every invention, the couple bought croissants and champagne;
and with the rest of the money purchased real estate in the historical
center of Paris, France. Today they own eight studio apartments transformed
into hotel-style vacation rentals.
The National Women Society for Innovation (NWSI) is a not-for-profit
organization (under IRS section 301-C) created to teach the art of innovation,
founded by Violaine Galland in 1991.
Claude and Violaine Galland continue to dream and invent, and are currently
involved in consumer products manufacturing.
Claude graduated from Yale University in 1988, and Violaine from Columbia
University, where she studied technology. They live and work on the Upper
West Side in Manhattan. |
